Perhaps
I should start
speaking to ghosts
for fear of misinterpretation
by the living dead
They have lesser questions
to ask; that are yet more profound
Simply stated; these ghosts –
they respond to sound
You and I, we’re lost
in our how’s and why’s
pretending to want to understand
even this want is a lie
Every word that can be spoken
is imagined and discarded before its out
you couldn’t kid yourself to believe
it’d help matters if one was to shout
Maybe we all should
then start
make a practice
of conversing with only ghosts
try it on as per the list of solutions
for one, it’d lessen our
medicare bills.
